ABOUT THE TOUR
Set amidst the magical woodlands of Perthshire, this multi-award winning event takes place annually at Faskally Woods near Pitlochry. Stunning light projections illuminate the soaring trees of the woods and with an original score it is a truly memorable experience. With other fantastic excursions to Perth, Aberfeldy, Queen's View and the historic Blair Athol Distillery, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service then on to Pitlochry for a four-night stay.

Day 2: Perth and Aberfeldy
Visit the 'fair city' of Perth, set by the River Tay and spanned by two bridges. Once the capital of Scotland, today the city boasts magnificent architecture and a fascinating royal history, along with vibrant and contemporary areas. Head to George Street for one-of-a-kind independent shops, or wander around the River Tay Public Art Trail for stunning sculptures.
We continue to Aberfeldy, first made famous by Robert Burns – Scotland's national poet – in his song lyrics, 'The Birks of Aberfeldy'. Why not visit the Watermill Bookshop & Café or head to the Dewars Aberfeldy Distillery on the outskirts of town for a 'wee dram'?

Day 3: Day at leisure or Stirling, and included evening at The Enchanted Forest
Enjoy a relaxing day in Pitlochry or join our optional excursion to the charming town of Stirling, where the skyline is dominated by the castle and history is around every corner. Why not take in the magnificent view's from Stirling Castle's (entrance not included) hill-top esplanade, or browse independent boutiques in the historic surroundings of the Old Town and the Victorian Stirling Arcade.
After dinner, make your way into Pitlochry for your transfer to the Enchanted Forest. This stunning annual event takes place just outside Pitlochry, with dazzling visual displays and an original music score set against the natural backdrop of Faskally Woods*.

Day 4: Queen's View and Blair Athol Distillery
Enjoy a tour and tasting at the historic Blair Athol Distillery. Take a peek at the ins and outs of this working distillery and enjoy an informative tour, with a tasting and a souvenir gift to take home!
Later in the day we continue to Queen's View, which offers a stunning panorama of the surrounding scenery and is named after Queen Victoria who once admired this glorious outlook.

You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Pitlochry Hydro Hotel in Pitlochry.
Built in the style of a traditional Scottish hunting lodge, the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel enjoys a fine location in the beautiful Perthshire Highlands, and is splendidly set on the River Tummel just a short walk from the town of Pitlochry. The hotel boasts an impressive line-up of excellent facilities including two elegant lounges, a terrace and a fantastic restaurant to enjoy delicious breakfast and evening meals. The hotel also has its own leisure club, featuring a gym, an indoor pool, sauna and Jacuzzi – the perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring the picturesque countryside and charming cities. A short walk away from the hotel will lead you to the town of Pitlochry, an idyllic retreat with an authentic Scottish atmosphere.
