During this festive period, discover 24 rooms filled with Christmas wonder and the sights, sounds and scents of the season. Travel under archways adorned with candy canes, handmade Christmas stockings and mistletoe, and explore a winter wonderland and glittering Christmas tree brooch forest.
Another highlight of the day is to explore Chatsworth's ever popular Christmas Market hosting gift, craft and food stalls. Enjoy a hot chocolate or a mulled wine as you enjoy this festive experience.
Join us today for an included visit into the Peak District, enjoying the beautiful scenery of this National Park. This morning we will make a stop in Buxton, the gateway to the Peaks. Stunning ornamental gardens and Georgian and Victorian architecture provide a beautiful backdrop to this charming town. There is also a wealth of independent shops and cafés.
This afternoon/ we will stop at pretty Bakewell famous for the Bakewell Tart. You will have free time to explore this pretty Peak District town with its quaint high street and pubs and cafés. We will then return to the hotel for dinner.
After a leisurely breakfast, we journey home full of festive cheer.
