Great weekend break in Paris as a group of four ladies. Only downsides were lack of local knowledge by our drivers who ended up taking several wrong turns and didn't seem to have any useful info on where we were staying or visiting, this was frustrating. Also, on the transfer back we stopped at a dodgy bus station to use facilities - only one toilet open for a coach load and while queuing, we were verbally abused by the 'residents' of said bus station who obviously weren't happy about us being there. Better planning needed with regard to rest breaks!!

Lots of remarks. Drivers getting lost every day, not knowing Paris. Meal and evening in Paris a disaster in epic proportions, firstly meal not worth money and when leaving at 8.30 for rest of trip to include Paris by night, to be told very rudely by Kelvin who said he makes the rules, telling us we are returning to the hotel, we the got lost and returned to hotel 2 hours later, for a 30 minute journey , I appreciate it was still light, but could have made other arrangements, we paid £56 each for the meal, and was a very expensive and an awful night all round.. Plus the bar was not open at all at the hotel during the weekend, which was frankly a joke Journey home was terrible, being told we were not having any comfort breaks, so 4 hours without a break, the toilet on board the coach, was not acceptable the sink cover would not close, making it difficult to use. I have a prostrate problem and those 4 hours were agonising. We even got lost at Calais going to tunnel entrance, which was now getting more and more a joke, We felt Kelvin tried hard during the weekend, but was let down by events during our stay. We feel we should get some sort of compensation for the meal on the Paris by night by night fiasco. These comments by Anthony Ellingham Mrs Cumby’s partner. I don’t think we will be going with you or recommending you anytime soon.

Hotel room nice , but very disappointed that the restaurant and bar were not open for the duration of the visit especially on first night after long journey. Trip to Paris and Versailles gardens good. Good coach drivers but getting in and out of hotel was extremely tight for coach with very little room to manoeuvre especially when van parked opposite. Worse part was delay at Calais with two hour wait at passport control causing us to miss ferry and consequently other coaches in our swap over group also missing ferries which led to long wait at STOP24 waiting for all the coaches to arrive to link up for homeward journey.

The hotel was comfortable but the rooms were very hot. We had to ask for some breakfast items to be replenished they were not done automatically and had wait for bowls etc to be brought out. The hotel restaurant and bar was closed the entire weekend ? The hotel was a long way from Paris centre. Sheerings do not advise any times (even estimated) of the offered itinerary which made it impossible to plan our weekend properly.

Booked on line after ringing for some more info. Call centre helpful and pleasant. Website booking form a bit awkward at accepting telephone numbers.

I really enjoyed myself, I was a bit nervous before hand first time I have been away without a family member, but I do make friends easily so settled in really good. My room had a sea view it was perfect, beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, I probably had one the best sleeps the first night, but the rest of the week was fine too. i only had one problem when I went to eat in the restaurant I had ordered soup with a bread roll, well it was rock hard, well I put that down as an error of judgement on their part.
