Today, we will discover the beauty of the English Riviera on our planned outing. Our first stop is the historic port city of Plymouth, often called Britain’s 'Ocean City'. Here, we take a relaxing one-hour cruise across the Plymouth Sound, where you can soak up the views of the Plymouth Hoe and Drake's Island.
In the afternoon, we will head to Torquay, the gem of the English Riviera. Its lovely seafront, stylish marina, and sandy beaches make it a wonderful place to explore, with palm trees lining the delightful promenade where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants. Why not treat yourself to a Devonshire cream tea while you enjoy the lively atmosphere around the harbour?
We return to Paignton for an evening dinner.
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we depart and enjoy our direct journey home.
