Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Esplanade Hotel, Paignton for four nights.

Excursion calling at popular Trago Mills, before we make our way to tranquil Buckfast Abbey. Located at the centre of a picturesque valley on the River Dart, the abbey is home to a community of Benedictine Monks, and a wonderfully peaceful place to visit.

Later in the day we make our way to the charming town of Totnes. Dating back to 907AD, Totnes has a fascinating history, combining stunning surrounding scenery with independent shopping and local food and drink. The atmospheric Guildhall has been home to the town council for over 450 years and the Norman castle which overlooks the town and the beautiful church of St Mary are open to the public.

Enjoy a day to relax in Paignton. This colourful, traditional seaside town is known for its mild climate and long sandy beaches.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Plymouth, a bustling coastal city. Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican are the historic maritime areas - the backdrop for Sir Francis Drake's legendary game of bowls! The city centre is modern with all the high street shops and favourite stores you'd expect to find. There's so much to see and do here!

Enjoy a trip back in time as we travel to nearby Babbacombe and visit Bygones. Bygones showcases British history across three floors which are filled with nostalgia, authentic curiosities and interactive displays.

Visit the authentic Victorian Street filled with original items, see the Blacksmith hard at work and smell the treats of the traditional Sweet Shop!
