For all of those involved, the last play is the emotional highlight of the Passion Year, as everyone is aware that it will years before the Passion Play is performed again. The day marks the end of an intensive rehearsal and performance period; for more than a year, over 2,300 participants gathered almost daily in the Passion Play Theatre to perform the 'Play of the Suffering, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ'. Sure to be the highlight of your holiday, you're guaranteed to experience an afternoon and evening filled with emotion as you enjoy the final play of 2030!
On this incredible fully escorted coach holiday, you'll witness the final performance in Oberammergau, as well as visiting some of Austria's most charming cities and sights. A holiday to Austria would not be complete without a stop-off in Salzburg to relax in the city's lovely squares, explore the quaint narrow shopping lanes, and perhaps sample a strudel and coffee in one of the many pavement cafés. In contrast, you'll also have the chance to spend time in stunning Kitzbühel, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The performance begins at 2:00pm, concluding around 10:00pm, with a three-hour break at 5:00pm when dinner is provided. After the performance, you will be transferred back to your accommodation.
The play is traditionally performed in German and a textbook with the complete play text is included on all tours.
We depart Oberammergau this morning and travel to Innsbruck for some free time.
