5 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1:

    Local departure by coach, then on through the western Highlands to our hotel for four nights. Before dinner we enjoy a reception with local malts and canapes. Enjoy our first evening of Scottish-themed entertainment.

  • Day 2:

    A half day excursion takes us to Inveraray, a traditional Argyll town on lovely Loch Fyne, a real beauty spot in the western Highlands. Back at the hotel, mulled wine precedes dinner with Scottish entertainment.

  • Day 3:

    Relax in Oban or join our optional excursion to the Glencoe Visitor Centre, nestled in a spectacular landscape at the foot of the glen. Afternoon tea is served in the hotel with tea, coffee and a glass of fizz. Test your tartan knowledge in our Scottish quiz.

  • Day 4:

    Today we take a trip along the shores of stunning Loch Linnhe to the popular Highland town of Fort William. We enjoy a tour and a 'wee dram' at the Ben Nevis Distillery before returning to Oban for our final fling. A 'Scottish fayre' dinner is followed by entertainment and dancing with a Scottish ceilidh band.

  • Day 5:

    Filled with festive cheer, we depart Oban for the journey home.

Hotels

Built in 1895 the Royal Hotel in Oban stands proud in the centre of town opposite the ferry terminal that serves Mull and the Hebrides. During our stay we are well catered for, with drinks reception of local malts, mulled wine, a glass of fizz and Scottish entertainment after dinner. Slainte!
