Local departure by coach, then on to Blackpool and our hotel for three nights. We enjoy a Buck’s Fizz on arrival to get us in the spirit to celebrate the New Year! After dinner, join your fellow travellers for entertainment in the ballroom.
After breakfast, we drive to the Lake District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and England's largest National Park. We make a stop in Bowness on the western shores of Lake Windermere for you to enjoy the fresh air and take photos of the lake. Wander around the quaint shops or enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafés. We then stop in the pretty town of Kendal where you can browse the high street or pick up some Kendal mint cake!
We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5-course New Year’s Eve dinner with drinks reception and countdown to midnight!
Happy New Year! Enjoy a leisurely brunch before relaxing in the hotel or exploring at your own pace.
