Discover what is known as Rouen Givré (Frosty Rouen), where Rouen transforms into a winter wonderland with thousands of magical lights illuminating more than eighty streets and squares all over the medieval city centre. The Christmas market that takes place in front of Rouen Cathedral is a particular highlight, with around 70 cosy chalets selling local delicacies, traditional arts and crafts, jewellery, decorations and more.

Today, we will head to Honfleur. This beautiful port town has inspired artists such as Claude Monet with its historic houses set around the quays of the Vieux Port, and the beautiful Saint Catherine’s Church, which was constructed completely out of local wood by local shipbuilders. There are plenty of galleries to explore, as well as boutique shops for you to get more gift ideas for your family and friends.
