This morning we visit charming Norwich. The city is dominated by a remarkable 900-year-old Norman cathedral, which boasts England’s second largest spire. Once you’re done taking in the sights, there’s an abundance of delightful independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants to unwind in.
We return to the hotel for lunch and enjoy some time to relax and use the extensive hotel facilities.
Late afternoon, we will depart for one of the highlights of the tour – a guided tour of Sandringham House after hours. Once the general public leave for the day at 5pm, you will enjoy a private tour of the house. Learn about the history and key items in the historical collection from your experienced guide, concluding in the ballroom with the chance to sample a glass of Sandringham Apple Juice or Sandringham Gin. This is an exclusive, signature experience!
Enjoy a visit to beautiful Cromer, known as the ‘gem of the Norfolk coast’, with its golden beaches and Victorian pier.
We’ll then head to the picturesque Norfolk Broads, home to charming towns and quaint villages. There is an included cruise on the luxury Mississippi Paddle Steamer cruiser – the perfect way to watch the beautiful broads sail by!
After breakfast, we journey home.
