Local departure by coach, then on to Tenby and our hotel for three nights. We enjoy a Buck’s Fizz on arrival to get us in the spirit to celebrate the New Year!
Today we travel first to bustling Haverfordwest, an attractive and ancient county town of Pembrokeshire. The river Cleddau runs through the town, making for many picturesque riverside walks. We then continue to St Davids, Britain’s smallest cathedral city and named after Wales’ patron saint. The cathedral which gives it its city status is built from local stone with a beautiful pink and grey colouring. Nearby are the ruins of The Bishop’s Palace and there are many other historical buildings throughout the town, as well as quaint shops and cafés.
We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5 course New Year’s Eve Dinner with drinks reception and count down for midnight!

We depart the hotel this morning and return home, with fond memories of our break and excited for the next year’s adventures.
