Today we visit the popular maritime resort of Falmouth, known for its deep-water harbour overlooked by Pendennis Castle, one of Henry VIII's forts. Falmouth's historic past is commemorated in its National Maritime Museum, a world-class attraction offering unique interactive displays. Along the main high street there are quaint old shops standing beside famous stores, and as you walk along you will catch glimpses of the colourful harbour through the picturesque alleyways.
This is the perfect place to do a little shopping in the post-Christmas sales or to simply enjoy the coastal views! We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5-course New Year’s Eve Dinner with drinks reception and count down for midnight!
