Local departure by coach, then on to Great Yarmouth and our hotel for three nights. We enjoy a Buck’s Fizz on arrival to get us in the spirit to celebrate the New Year!
Today we visit historic Norwich where, in this truly English city, it is still a pleasure to wander among the medieval streets, particularly cobbled Elm Hill, which is full of character. Norwich is the most complete medieval city in the UK, the only city in a National Park, and was England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. It is of course also famous for Alan Partridge, Steve Coogan’s comedic character presenting Radio Norwich. There is also Norwich Market, open six days a week, as well as two shopping centres and four department stores. We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5 course New Year’s Eve Dinner with drinks reception and count down to midnight!

We depart the hotel this morning and return home, with fond memories of our break and excited for the next year’s adventures.
