Our break begins in Newcastle, where the spectacular Mountains of Mourne meet the sea, and we also visit the quaint town of Downpatrick. Enjoy time to explore the vibrant city of Belfast, before heading to the world-famous Giant’s Causeway – the highlight of our tour. Ending the trip on a high, we take in the sights of capital Dublin, such as St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to Holyhead for the ferry to Ireland, and onward to our hotel for a four-night stay.
Our sightseeing journey begins with an excursion to Newcastle. It is here that the Mountains of Mourne famously sweep down into the sea! Enjoy free time to explore, perhaps heading to the promenade or browsing the many shops.
We continue to Downpatrick, where in the grounds of Down Cathedral lies a grave reputed to be that of St. Patrick, and you can retrace his life and history in the highly recommended St. Patrick Centre (entrance not included).
Today we enjoy an included excursion to Belfast, Northern Ireland's vibrant capital city. There will be ample free time to explore at leisure – why not visit one of the Titanic attractions so closely associated with the city, admire the City Hall at the very heart, or maybe call in at the Crown Liquor Saloon, one of the most famous pubs in the city.
You may wish to join our optional guided sightseeing tour which will take you around the highlights of the city, seeing the murals of the Falls and Shankill Road, the Cathedral Quarter and the splendid Queen's University.

A day of fantastic scenery lies ahead as we visit the world-famous Giant's Causeway, where thousands of symmetrical columns rise dramatically from the sea. Learn more about the myths and science of this area at the visitor centre before we continue to the walled town of Derry.
Derry is one of the most fascinating places to visit in the British Isles, so why not join our optional sightseeing tour? Providing an overview of the town, learn more about the famous walls and murals which are a reminder of the town's turbulent history.

We depart this morning and call at coastal Howth, before making our way to capital Dublin.
Enjoy time at leisure to discover the city or perhaps join our optional guided sightseeing tour to see the main sights, including Temple Bar, Ha'Penny Bridge and Trinity College.
We continue to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of the city.

To Holyhead, then home.
You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Amagh City Hotel in Armagh, or the 4-star Four Seasons Hotel & Leisure Club in Monaghan.
Overnight stay will be on the outskirts of the Dublin area and will be in a city-style hotel.
