From here, we’ll explore the charming towns and villages of the Lake District, enjoy a cruise along idyllic Lake Windermere, and discover the history city of Lancaster.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Morecambe and our hotel for four nights.
Enjoy a visit to the beautiful Lake District, calling at Bowness on the shores of Lake Windermere.
From here, we sail across the lake on an included boat trip, taking in breathtaking scenery as we make our way to Ambleside. There will be free time here to explore the many shops.Afterwards, we discover the pretty village of Grasmere – which is famous for its gingerbread – before returning back to the hotel.
Today, we discover Lancaster, with its captivating past and cultured present. Visit the medieval Lancaster Castle with its 19th-century prison cells and views of the River Lune, explore Lancaster City Museum, or stroll through Williamson Park which offers woodland walks, a butterfly house and coastal views.
After breakfast, we start the return journey home.
