Designed exclusively for solo travellers, this holiday takes you to the traditional town of Malgrat de Mar. Still very Spanish in every sense, the town boasts cobbled streets, quaint shops, and a local market, offering the perfect base for our escape. From here, we’ll explore the scenic Costa Brava and Catalonia with our range of expertly planned excursions, including the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, Barcelona, Peratallada, and Canet de Mar. With other highlights including a wine tasting and a tapas experience, you’re guaranteed a holiday brimming with fantastic memories.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to Paris area for an overnight stay.
Continuing south to Spain, we arrive at Malgrat de Mar in the evening and enjoy a welcome cocktail upon arrival.
Today, we visit the local market at the coastal town of Blanes, which is located a short drive along the coast from Malgrat de Mar.
We then continue onto the Marimurtra Botanical Garden, which is considered to be one of the best botanical gardens in Europe, spanning a large area and offering panoramic views of the scenic Costa Brava.
We travel to the charming wine-growing town of Alella, which is set amid the Serralada de Marina Natural Park. Here, we visit a family-owned winery that boasts a wealth of history and knowledge regarding the wine and cava culture. After a tour of the vineyards, we enjoy a light picnic-style lunch.

Today, we discover the medieval town of Peratallada. Declared a historical-artistic and cultural centre of national interest, Peratallada is one of Catalonia’s most important villages in terms of architecture.
We also visit the Gala Dalí Castle at Pubol. Gifted by Dali to his wife, Gala, we uncover the artist's creative talent with our local guide.
We travel to the local town of Canet de Mar, which was made famous by architect Lluis Domenech Mutaner who had a modernist style similar to Gaudi. We’ll visit a museum dedicated to his work and enjoy a tasty tapas lunch before returning to the hotel. This evening a special farewell dinner is included.
