Relax in Scarborough or join our optional to Whitby – one of North Yorkshire’s gems. Enjoy free time to explore the cobbled narrow streets and pick up some thoughtful Christmas gifts from the unique shops. Why not walk the 199 steps up to the church and ruins of Whitby Abbey – made famous by Bram Stoker’s Dracula – or take a stroll along the harbour walls?

Today, we enjoy an included excursion to stately Castle Howard. Set in a thousand acres of sweeping parkland, this is one of England's finest historic houses. Particularly beautiful at Christmas, a giant Christmas tree awaits you in the main hall and with seasonally decorated rooms, this is a favourite time of year for a tour of the house.
