Local departure by coach or Home Connect service and then on to Arrochar on the shores of Loch Long for a four-night stay.
Sit back and relax as we travel through the pretty Trossachs National Park to reach the impressive city of Stirling. Explore the Old Town and the Victorian Stirling Arcade, or admire the historic castle and National Wallace Monument.
We return taking a scenic trip via Callander, a colourful town crammed with teashops and souvenir shops, and on through Brig O'Turk and Dukes Pass, before calling at Aberfoyle, home to the Trossachs Discovery Centre and The Scottish Wool Centre, before following the shores of Loch Lomond back to the hotel.
This morning we admire the stunning scenery of The Trossachs, Scotland's first National Park, onboard a Loch Lomond Cruise. There's no better way to soak up the surroundings than from the water!
This afternoon you may choose to relax at the hotel or join our optional excursion to Inveraray. Marvel at the scenery en route as we travel over the Rest and Be Thankful Pass. Inveraray is a pretty white-walled town, with fantastic examples of Scottish Georgian architecture. Whilst here, why not visit the neoclassical church or Inveraray Jail.
The optional excursions will be available to book during your tour.

More spectacular scenery awaits as we travel west to reach Oban, known as the 'Gateway to the Isles'. Oban is a bustling harbour town, situated on a sheltered, horse-shoe bay which is protected by the Inner Hebridean island of Kerrera. Why not sample the catch of the day in one of Oban's many seafood eateries, or stroll through the town and browse the galleries and independent shops.
Return home.

After breakfast this morning we continue on to reach Scotland and our hotel for the next five nights on the shores of beautiful Loch Long.

Today its time to relax and enjoy Loch Long with a day at leisure. Take a stroll by the loch and take in the stunning scenery. Loch Long’s stunning natural beauty and diverse wildlife make it the perfect destination for sightseeing. Visitors can spot seals & otters often from the shore. It’s got an interesting history to it, between 1912 and 1986 it was used for torpedo testing by the military, you can still visit the abandoned torpedo testing station on the northern banks of the loch.

After breakfast today we depart the hotel and make our journey back through Scotland to reach our overnight hotel in the North of England. Enjoy a relaxing dinner with your fellow travelers.

For southern departures you will overnight in the North of England on the first and last night of your holiday and spend 5 nights at the 3-star Arrochar Hotel, on the shores of Loch Long.
