Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Liverpool and our hotel for four nights.
Today we visit one of the Uks largest festive markets. With over 200 stalls spread out throughout the city centre offering gifts and food and drinks. Indulge in a hot chocolate or mulled wine as you wander the festive stalls. Enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants or shop in the many high street stores for your Christmas shopping.
There is so much to do in Liverpool, from shops and restaurants to museums and galleries galore.
Why not explore the Tate gallery on Albert Dock to see modern art, learn about the city’s past in one of its many free museums, or walk in the footsteps of the Fab Four at the Cavern Club or Beatles Story.
The city also hosts its own festive market in St Georges Square with over 40 stalls selling Christmas gifts.
Today we enjoy an included excursion to historic Chester. Wander the cobbled streets and soak up the festive atmosphere. The festive market is located in the Town Hall Square which is transformed into a winter wonderland with Alpine-style chalets, twinkling fairy lights and a majestic Christmas tree. Chester cathedral is also worth a visit at this time of year.
