Before going back to our hotel, we make a stop in Fügen and visit the Show Cheese Dairy there. See how the Austrian Cheese is produced and maybe you'll also have the chance to taste some of it!

The hills are alive with the sound of music. Visit Salzburg, the Mozart capital of the world and home of the ever-popular movie “The Sound of Music”.
The guided walking tour of this magical city will show you some of the many highlights. Admire the baroque splendour of the churches and cathedral, the might of the Hohensalzburg fortress, and also the quaint Getriedegasse, which with its wrought iron signs that overhang the doors, is one of the most beautiful shopping streets of Austria.
We include a typical lunch in Salzburg, and there will be free time in the city for shopping and sightseeing before we return to our hotel.

We head to Mittersill where we board the Pinzgau train, which takes us to the town of Krimml.
For more than 100 years, this narrow gauge railway has been winding along the picturesque Salzach Valley to the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Krimml Waterfalls. These falls are the highest in Europe and the 5th highest in the world. Walk down to the base of the falls or follow the trail up the side for a close-up experience of this breathtaking spectacle.
This is a must for photographers and nature lovers. Don’t forget your brolly, as even on the sunniest days there can be quite a lot of spray!

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday although the title was a bit misleading. We ended up on one of the trains only. Drivers Geoff and David were very professional and helpful.
