The Park is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in Europe and its paths walk through an oasis of tulips and roses, 18 ponds, a 400-year-old oak tree, a Gothic temple and a maze. Our local guide will organise the panoramic train ride to cover a route around the park.
After the park visit, we travel onwards to the charming village of Borghetto sul Mincio. Our day completes with a visit to the colourful town of Sirmione, a standout peninsular setting on Lake Garda's southern shore.
Today our journey takes us north towards Trauttmansdorff Castle, where extensive gardens are tapered into the hillside, offering a stunning view of the city of Merano and the surrounding mountain ranges. The gently meandering paths through the gardens here give the opportunity to explore four worlds at your own pace, home to plants from all over the world.
