Local departure by coach, then onto Cumbria and our hotel for four nights, the Cumbria Grand in Grange-over-Sands. Overlooking Morecambe Bay on the edge of the Lake District, our festive programme begins with pre-dinner bubbly or sherry, dinner and entertainment.

We explore the natural, scenic beauty of Northern Lakeland with a visit to pretty Keswick on the shores of Derwentwater.

We jaunt into the Lake District again and visit Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere, bustling with shops and cafés. Our final evening at the hotel is a New Year's Eve themed celebration.

The historic Cumbria Grand Hotel in Grange-over-Sands was built in 1880. Set in 20 acres of private gardens and woodlands overlooking Morecambe Bay, this charming Victorian hotel is just a short drive from Windermere and the delights of the Lake District. Outdoors the hotel boasts a garden, tennis court, putting green and woodlands walks. Indoors, a full-sized snooker table and pool table are available at your leisure. A turkey & tinsel programme at the hotel provides added festive delight.
