Steeped in history, the 4-star Imperial Hotel in Blackpool boasts a dominating position on the seafront, and has welcomed many celebrated figures from prime ministers to The Beatles! Guests can enjoy fine dining and incredible views in the Palm Court restaurant or head to the No.10 bar for drinks in a relaxing setting. During our stay, we’ll journey through the past with a ride on a vintage tram, before having afternoon tea at the iconic Blackpool Tower, which is renowned for its stunning architecture and remarkable dance floor. Discover the Lake District with a nostalgic steam train ride on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway and a cruise along Lake Windermere, with time for a ‘Brief Encounter’ at Carnforth Station to visit the museum commemorating its filming location. You'll also have the chance to visit ancient Lancaster and its seaside neighbour, Morecambe, making this tour the perfect blend of city, countryside and coastal sights!

A day exploring Blackpool at its best, we begin with a ride on a beautifully preserved vintage tram for a taste of nostalgia.
After free time, we meet at the iconic Blackpool Tower for afternoon tea in the world-famous Tower Ballroom. Enjoy live music from the mighty Wurlitzer, watch the dancers on one of the world's greatest dance floors and even join in yourself!
For our October departure, enjoy the magical Illuminations! Why not enjoy a stroll along the Golden Mile to see the world-famous illuminations - the greatest show on earth!

Our nostalgic break continues with a thrilling steam train ride on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway. Arriving at Lakeside, a Windermere lake cruiser awaits to sail us gently across Windermere to Bowness. Our journey through the Lake District complete, there's still time for a 'Brief Encounter' at Carnforth Station, where a small museum commemorates the film location of the epic movie.

The 4* Imperial Hotel is an iconic Victorian landmark on Blackpool's seafront, just yards from the beach and a short walk from major attractions, including the Blackpool Tower and Winter Gardens. Host to royalty, politicians and stars of stage and screen, the Imperial's No.10 Bar commemorates all the UK's prime ministers who have stayed at the hotel. Interestingly, beneath the hotel a restoration project is taking place to uncover the ornate Burmantofts tiles of the Turkish Baths, installed in 1898 but covered up in the 1950s. There are few hotels in the northwest that can compare with the Imperial in terms of history.
