Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Dilkhusa Grand Hotel, Ilfracombe for seven nights.
We visit the charming seaside village of Clovelly which huddles around a port and is completely pedestrianised, adding to its charm. From the village’s steep cobbled high street there is a fantastic view of Bideford Bay and the Isle of Lundy.
Relying on donkeys and sledges to navigate the steep streets, much has remained unchanged for the small population who still live here, but thankfully for the tourists who visit, there are now Land Rovers to help you back to the top of the hill (charges apply, pay locally).
Relax in Ilfracombe, or join our optional excursion to Lynton and Lynmouth, twin coastal towns, with bustling Lynmouth on the shore with its busy harbour, and clifftop Lynton offering superb views.

This optional excursion is available to pre-book or you can book during your tour.
Relax at your own pace in Ilfracombe. Just across the road from the hotel are the wonderful Jubilee Gardens which contain the fascinating Ilfracombe Museum and the Landmark theatre.
Or, if you are feeling a bit more active, head to the top of Capstone Parade, the cliff that overlooks town for great views back across Ilfracombe.
