Local departure by coach, then on to Strathpeffer and our hotel for three nights. Check in, unpack and relax. Gather in the lounge for a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. We begin our celebrations with a Highland Gala Candlelit Dinner in the restaurant.
Enjoy a full Scottish breakfast before heading out to explore the wonderful scenery and work up an appetite as tonight is Hogmanay!
Our first visit is to Inverness. This vibrant, bustling and modern city, at the top of the Great Glen, is known as the ‘capital’ of the Highlands. We also enjoy a scenic drive to admire the spectacular scenery of Loch Ness.
We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Highland dress is not mandatory; however, many guests will wish to do so. The piper will take you into a Grand Hogmanay Highland Banquet. After dinner, dance the old year out with live entertainment. Enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz as you ring in the New Year.
Happy New Year! A full Scottish breakfast will be served this morning. The rest of the day is to relax. Early evening, 3 course dinner will be served today followed by music and dancing in the lounge.
We depart the hotel this morning and return home, with fond memories of our break and excitement for the next year’s adventures.
