Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Fort William and our hotel for a three-night stay. We enjoy a Buck’s Fizz on arrival to get us in the spirit to celebrate the New Year!
Today we visit Fort Augustus at the south-west end of Loch Ness. We drive via Spean Bridge and the Commando Memorial, a monument dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces in WWII. We then continue to Fort Augustus which offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. There are many cruises which depart from here, perfect for hunting down the famous Nessie! We return to the hotel with time to get ready ahead of tonight’s celebrations. Enjoy a fabulous 5 course New Year’s Eve Dinner with drinks reception and count down for midnight!
