Day One: Home to Llandudno
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Llandudno, where we’ll check in to the Bay Marine Hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)

Days Two to Four: Llandundo
We spend three days in North Wales in the beautiful Victorian resort of Llandudno, where we visit some of the area’s very best gardens. 

We visit the National Trust’s Bodnant Garden which contain stunning plants from across the world and has scenic views over the immense landscape of Snowdonia.

We also visit the island of Anglesey, calling Beaumaris and one of the ancient castles of the country. We then visit spectacular Plas Cadnant gardens which have been restored to former glories over many years and have three distinct gardens all of contain varied plants from different countries and continents. 

The other day is set aside for you to spend at your leisure. There are so many options for things to do in Llandudno and the surrounding area, from strolling along the promenade to riding the Victorian Tramway to the summit of Great Orme for fantastic views of the North Wales coast. (B,D)

Day Five: Llandudno to Home

Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

The Marine Hotel occupies a fabulous place on the Llandudno seafront close to the very best that the resort has to offer in terms of shops, bars, restaurants and great attractions.

Around the hotel there are great options of places to enjoy a drink in the sun or a bite to eat with a number of excellent bars and restaurants around the North Western Gardens close to the hotel. One of the town’s top attractions is Great Orme, which can be travelled up by on Great Orme Tramway or by foot if you are feeling active. From the top you will enjoy great views back over the town and over to Snowdonia National Park.

Head along the coast in either direction from Llandudno and you will discover fantastic coastal landscapes and a number of pretty seaside towns. Heading just out of town you will arrive at Conwy which is notable for its castle and delightful old town. Further along on Wales’ west coast you will reach Porthmadog and the Italian influenced town of Portmeirion.

In the hotel you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel’s indoor pool, great to wake yourself up before a busy day exploring north Wales. Then enjoy a tasty breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant with great views over the Irish sea as you enjoy a wide and varied menu.

Full Day: Anglesey and Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens

Excursion travelling over to the Isle of Anglesey where we visit pretty Beaumaris, boasting one of Edward I’s most stunning castles. From here, we continue on to spectacular Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens. Over the last 30 years, the present owner has been restoring the stunning gardens and grounds with three different gardens being discovered including the unusual, curved walled garden, a secret valley garden and a woodland garden.


Half Day: Bodnant Garden

We’re in for a treat today with a trip to stunning Bodnant Garden, situated above the River Conwy and looking out across the valley towards the Snowdonia range. Here you will find inspiration from a wide range of beautiful plants from all over the world, particularly China, North America, Europe and Japan, that are suited to the Welsh climate and soil.
