Held up at Dover with French customs so 2 hour delay in ferry sailing. Due to delay, a very rushed journey from Calais down through France, with only 2 stops. However, this is a good value budget holiday travelling overnight. Location lovely; hotel, staff and food very good; great trips and an interesting way to get a taste of Italy. I have done this overnight trip 5 times now quite comfortably. The coach we had this time, although new, was uncomfortable and cramped for an overnight journey. There was concern that one of the drivers was drinking a lot in the hotel bar but overall the actual holiday was enjoyable.

Great for anyone who likes beautiful countryside, good food, fantastic historical cities and of course the Italian people. Siena is absolutely stunning. Long coach journey but totally worth it. Chianciano is a little 'faded' and if it was anymore 'laid back' it would be going backwards. Grand Hotel Ambasciatori is charming, elegant, clean, nice food and pleasant staff. All in all the holiday could not be faulted except for the single room supplement charged.

The holiday itself was great, the guide we had in Rome didn’t speak very good English so a lot of us couldn’t understand what she was saying.Coach driver Steve Cogbill was great couldn’t do enough to help you but all in all a very good holiday, plenty to do.

Tuscany is a beautiful place and the trips are really interesting. Hotel, food and pool was very good but the trip could have been improved by better service from the drivers on board the coach.

Journey could be improved slightly by an interesting stop on the way back. Hotel was Ok but not as good as other lesser rated hotels in Italy we've stayed in.
