We include a visit to the remarkable Minster, which has been at the centre of Christianity in the north of England since the 7th century. We'll also have some free time to discover the city at leisure – wander the Shambles, visit one of the many world-class museums or relax in a tea room and watch the world go by!

Enjoy a day at leisure in Harrogate. With its handsome historic buildings, blooming gardens and its quirky antique quarter there's so much to enjoy in most elegant destination.
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to nearby Knaresborough, a delightful, picturesque market town, perched high above the River Nidd and filled with ‘olde worlde’ charm.

Our included excursion today ventures into the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, where we call at the pretty village of Grassington. The bustling cobbled market square is fringed by shops, art galleries, pubs and tearooms.
Later in the day we continue to Skipton, known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’. Filled with shops and cafés, the historic Leeds Liverpool Canal runs through the centre of the town.
