Walk along the most famous wall in Britain! Named in honour of the emperor who built it, Hadrian’s Wall is a 73-mile long wall built between 122 - 128 AD and the fact that much of it still stands today is a testament to Roman engineering.
We explore English Heritage’s Chesters Roman Fort, the most complete Roman cavalry fort in Britain.
