The hotel was adequate the staff made it amazing, the service from shearing was less helpful, we requested a downstairs room with shower due to mobility issues and on arrival was given a first floor room with bath, the polar opposite to what was required. The staff were more than happy to help us, but the embarrassment of it all should not have had to be endured if shearing had booked it properly in the first place.

The Golden Lion Hotel at Hunstanton was absolutely very well situated right by the sea with a Green in front of it. Ideal for walks around town or the costal path. Very dog friendly. An old tired place, but clean and the staff are very friendly. It’s in need of a refurb but apart from that is a little gem by the sea.
