In a beautiful location, at the foot of Ben Nevis and overlooking tranquil Loch Linnhe, the bustling resort of Fort William is perfectly located to discover Scotland’s wonderful scenery. From sandy beaches and dramatic hills to iconic films locations, castles and distilleries, there are plenty of things to do in Fort William.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect, then on to the Caledonian Hotel, Loch Linnhe near Fort William for three nights.

Day 2: Road to the Isles
Included excursion today is a drive to follow the ‘Road to the Isles’, a route steeping in history and that was once the cattle drovers’ road.
We spend some free time in the bustling fishing village of Mallaig where you can soak up the atmosphere of a working fishing port before returning to Fort William.

Day 3: Loch Ness and Fort Augustus
Included excursion to travel through the breath-taking scenery of the Highlands. We stop at the Commando Memorial dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces raised during World War II. We then continue on to reach Fort Augustus at the southernmost tip of Loch Ness. Why not visit the Clansmen Centre, where appropriately attired guides demonstrate 17th century clan weaponry or take in the beautiful views of the lake.

You will stay for three nights at the Caledonian Hotel, located in Fort William.
The Caledonian Hotel is located just two miles from the centre of Fort William, between Loch Linnhe and Ben Nevis, and is ideally placed for a relaxing stay amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the western Scottish Highlands. The scenery doesn’t stop at the hotel door; you’ll find tremendous views from the recently refurbished bar and lounge area, as well as the restaurant where you can enjoy delicious breakfast and evening meals. The hotel has a regular programme of authentic entertainment during the holiday season, including musicians and comedians, perfect for relaxing to with a well-deserved drink after a day discovering the local sights.
