Renowned for its glorious seafront, Exmouth is Devon’s oldest seaside resort and home to beautiful parks, golden sands and a glorious esplanade – the perfect place for a relaxing break on the south coast. From here, we enjoy a visit to magnificent Buckfast Abbey, uncover the historic sights of Exeter, and discover Torquay – the English Riviera’s premier resort.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service then on to Exmouth for a four-night stay.

Day 2: Buckfast Abbey, Totnes and Torquay
Enjoy a visit to tranquil Buckfast Abbey, which is nestled in a beautiful valley on the banks of the River Dart. Continuing to Totnes, this fascinating historic town combines stunning countryside with independent shopping and fantastic local food and drink.
Later in the day we explore Torquay, the English Riviera’s premier resort and home to beautiful coastal scenery and traditional seaside attractions.

Day 3: Day at leisure or Sidmouth and Seaton
Enjoy a day at leisure in seaside Exmouth, where you can enjoy the glorious stretch of golden beaches, explore the bustling town centre, or perhaps enjoy a stroll along part of the South West Coast Path, which follows the coast straight through Exmouth.
Alternatively, why not join our optional excursion to Sidmouth and Seaton? Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, enjoy the golden beaches and panoramic sea-views of Seaton before we call at Regency Sidmouth. Sidmouth has been a favourite holiday destination since Victorian times and Queen Victoria as a child holidayed here enjoying the sun and charm of this lovely location.

Day 4: Exeter
Trip to the historic city of Exeter, where the skyline is dominated by the unique Norman twin towers of the majestic cathedral.
Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans, Exeter's history is rich and long – explore the Underground Passages, join a free Red Coat Guided Tour or admire the beautiful Quayside. You will find a diverse mix of eateries and the city is renowned as one of the foodie capitals of the South West. There are also plenty of independent shops and boutiques to be found in the West Quarter and on the cobbled Gandy Street.

Day 5:
Return home.

Set in a great location looking out towards the sea and Dawlish Warren, the landmark Imperial Hotel is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday in Exmouth. The hotel boasts four acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, with a mix of flowerbeds and native trees, and a large sun terrace to relax on when the weather permits. The on-site restaurant offers a variety of options including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the stylish bar is ideal for a well-earned drink after a day out. All the delights of a traditional seafront town are within just a short walk of the hotel, with the beach and pavilion just a couple of minutes’ walk away, and the South West Coastal Path within a few miles.
