Thoroughly enjoyed this well paced trip with lots of variety each and everyday. From the serenity of Buckfast Abbey to the superb views on the Jurassic Coast Cruise and sandy beaches of Sidmouth, this tour brought the best of South Devon to us in 3 days. On the steam railway, the Shearings group had their own private carriage and likewise in the World of Country Life we had our own Deer Train Safari (with admission included in the optional excursion price so excellent value for money).

Apart from the time it takes for the pick-ups and change over coaches, the holiday was very good. Hotel was either short staffed or not prepared. Out rooms were not services until the third day - no toilet paper, clean cups, or clean towels (when requested} but when dirty items taken down to reception they were replace!!

Found the Front of House Manager Vicky (if she was) very rude and confrontational. Deeply disappointed that the lift was out of order and having to climb 4/5 flights of stairs to reach my room. Being almost 83 and having walking difficulties I had to make sure I had everything each morning to avoid going up the stairs unnecessarily. Chris the driver was very helpful and polite at all times and tried to cater for everyone's needs.

Had really nice time, met some lovely people and well looked after the Shearing's staff. Trips were both enjoyable and very informative, Would definitely recommend and will be booking again. An all round good value for money holiday.
