Today we head into the Peak District and to the picturesque spa town of Matlock Bath, set in the beautiful gorge of the River Derwent with wooded hillsides and rocky limestone crags.
We then pay a nostalgic visit to Crich Tramway Village, home of The National Tramway Museum. Ride the vintage trams, admire period streets then trundle out into rolling countryside. Afterwards, maybe enjoy a pint at the preserved Red Lion Pub or a warming cuppa in the vintage tea rooms.

Set in 26 acres of spectacular grounds, Eastwood Hall
combines the beauty of a period property with the modern comforts of a 4* hotel.
Located in the historic home town of DH Lawrence, Eastwood Hall was built in the
early 19th Century and bought by the coal mine owning Walker family. The new
National Coal Board acquired Eastwood Hall firstly as their Area Offices and
later the Board's National Offices. This was the location for several crisis
meetings during the National Miners’ Strike in the 1980s. Nowadays, pleasant
grounds, spacious public areas and a popular leisure club make for a relaxing
stay in historic surroundings.
