Trip on the Bluebell Railway – a beautiful name for a beautiful journey. One of the first preserved heritage lines in the country, a number of the stations were built in the traditional 'Queen Anne' style, and Horsted Keynes has regularly been featured on television and in films including Downton Abbey and Churchill's Secret.

We continue on to the National Trust’s Sheffield Park Garden. This magnificent garden was laid out in the 18th century by ‘Capability’ Brown.

Eastbourne coach break completely ruined by the horrendous journey back. Left at Cobham services for approx 5 hours no feedback on what was going on. Of all the years of travelling. package holidays ,cruises ,coach holidays etc, this was my worst ever experience . Shame on Shearings for letting us elderly, some disabled passengers so badly down. My heartfelt thanks two the elderly Gentleman and the lady who were trying there very best in such awful circumstances to help us all they could . They went above and beyond with it seems little help from the office.

Enjoyed the contents of the holiday. Hotel needs a paint job, but clean and staff very nice.

I would have given 5 stars for quality, but this was a replacement holiday for one cancelled and so the trips were not 100% what I would have chosen, but they were good quality and certainly value for money. Overall the holiday was very good. I have travelled with Shearings before and am very satisfied with what they have to offer.
