Take in the great British countryside from a unique perspective on this fantastic holiday! Join us for a scenic ride aboard the beautifully resorted coaches of the Kent and East Sussex Railway, and enjoy a nostalgic journey on the picturesque Bluebell Railway. With other highlights including National Trust’s Sheffield Park Gardens and a trip to Tenterden, this tour promises plenty of memories.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Eastbourne and our hotel for four nights.

Day 2: Kent and East Sussex Railway
Journey on the Kent and East Sussex Railway, passing through the beautiful Wealden scenery. England's finest rural light railway allows visitors to experience travel from a bygone era, aboard beautifully restored coaches and locomotives dating from the Victorian times.
We will have time in picturesque Tenterden, known as the 'Jewel of the Weald', before returning to Eastbourne.

Day 3: Day at leisure or Brighton
Relax in Eastbourne and enjoy the fresh air, sandy beaches and Victorian pier.
Or, why not join our optional excursion to Brighton? This popular seaside resort is busting with attractions, such as the extravagant pavilion and beautiful pebbled beach. The historic Lanes date back to the late 16th century, and this quirky labyrinth of streets is filled with interesting shops, beautiful jewellers, and plenty of places to eat.

Day 4: Bluebell Railway and National Trust’s Sheffield Park Gardens
Trip on the Bluebell Railway – a beautiful name for a beautiful journey. One of the first preserved heritage lines in the country, a number of the stations were built in the traditional 'Queen Anne' style, and Horsted Keynes has regularly been featured on television and in films including Downton Abbey and Churchill's Secret.
We continue on to the National Trust’s Sheffield Park Garden. This magnificent garden was laid out in the 18th century by ‘Capability’ Brown.

You will stay for four nights at the 2-Star Majestic Hotel in Eastbourne.
Perched in a prime position on Royal Parade, the Majestic Hotel sits across the road from the beach, close to Redoubt Fort and the world-famous Carpet Gardens. With fantastic views out to sea, the hotel is also within walking distance of the main attractions, including Eastbourne Pier. Guests can unwind in the relaxing lounge and open-fronted bar area, or watch the world go by from the beautiful sun terrace on brighter days. The hotel hosts a variety of entertainment during the holiday season, including comedians, musicians and quizzes, so you can enjoy the sociable atmosphere after a day exploring this delightful coastal resort.
