Worth the extra payment for the sea view, especially for two elderly ladies with limited mobility. Downside was the lack of a shelf or similar in the bathroom. Room cleaned, and restocked on request, was something new, but worked well. Friendly and helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. Can’t comment on trips. Would go again.

I can't fault Shearings, the driver or the tours. Probably a bit more info needed on the tours to explain where the best place to visit in the 3hrs you were left to enjoy your visit. The hotel well a different matter, it was dire, the room was okish, the bathroom disgusting. The Porterage was a bloke in overalls covered in what looked like paint and scruffy. I wouldn't visit that hotel again

Coach and travel good, outings good, but could have spent less time in Hastings. Burlington Hotel. Food good, staff helpful, BUT I think it is a mistake to book guests into a hotel in winter, when you know the central heating is not working. When we arrived our room was cold, however, a portable radiator was supplied for the room, but the bathroom had no heating. Room had not been cleaned properly when we arrived. Needed upgrading, and altogether a depressing room.

I really enjoyed myself, I was a bit nervous before hand first time I have been away without a family member, but I do make friends easily so settled in really good. My room had a sea view it was perfect, beautiful. The bed was so comfortable, I probably had one the best sleeps the first night, but the rest of the week was fine too. i only had one problem when I went to eat in the restaurant I had ordered soup with a bread roll, well it was rock hard, well I put that down as an error of judgement on their part.
