Sail from Rotterdam to Zaandam, arriving mid-afternoon. The town is located on the banks of the Zaan River and you'll have free time to explore. Be sure to visit Czaar Peterhuisje – dating back to 1697, the wooden house was visited by Tsar Peter of Russia before his visit to Amsterdam.

Disembark after breakfast and board the coach for a full-day excursion to the Keukenhof Gardens. Here you will have plenty of time to explore the 32-hectare site, enjoying themed pavilions and swathes of flowers. Rejoin the ship in Amsterdam.
