We travel southwards through France to reach our hotel in the Auvergne. (B,D)
Days Three to Seven - Issoire
A chance to relax at leisure in Issoire. Discover the Auvergne region on our three included excursions including Clermont-Ferrand, the Volcanoes National Park, typical Auvergne villages and a train journey up the Puy de Dome. (B,D)
Day Eight - Issoire to Paris Area
We depart the Auvergne and travel northward to Paris for dinner and an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day Nine - Paris Area to UK
We depart our overnight hotel after breakfast and continue to Calais then home. After crossing the channel we continue our journey home. (B)

Full Day: Auvergne Villages
We explore some of the beautiful villages in the region including Montpeyroux perched on a rocky mount; Usson, built on a volcanic hill and Saint-Floret, nestling at the bottom of a steep sided valley
Full Day: Clermont-Ferrand and Volcanoes National Park
We take a trip to Clermont-Ferrand which offers charming pedestrianised streets and an awesome Gothic cathedral. Then we explore the Volcanoes National Park and journey up the Puy de Dome on a panoramic train.
Full Day: Sancy Massif and cheese farm visit
Travel into the Sancy Massif and visit medieval Besse. We continue on to a traditional farm for a tasting session of the famous Saint Nectaire cheese.
Vichy And Thiers
Explore the historical city of Vichy with us on this optional excursion, taking in its many famous sights, such as the Opera House, the Town Hall, and the stunning city centre. After this, we make our way to Thiers, known for its charming half-timbered houses and picturesque setting along the Durolle River valley.
