Day 6: Loch Linnhe Cruise
Scenic cruise taking in the views of Ben Nevis.
With a fascinating commentary throughout from the Skipper, this is a fantastic way to see the area and learn about the history, wildlife, geology and way of life in the beautiful corner of Scotland.

Day 7: Oban
Today we visit Oban, which means 'little bay' in Gaelic and is often referred to 'The Gateway to the Isles' with the Isle of Mull just off the shore. This popular tourist town has a wealth of shops and attractions, as well as some of the freshest seafood in Scotland.

This morning we will continue our journey to Scotland, arriving at the Caledonian Hotel, Loch Linnhe near Fort William for five nights.

Today we will say farewell to Fort William and begin our journey home, staying at a comfortable overnight hotel.

After breakfast, we continue our journey northwards to Scotland and on to the Caledonian Hotel near Fort William for a five night stay.

Day 3: Fort Augustus and Loch Ness Cruise
Travelling via the poignant Commando Memorial, we make our way to Fort Augustus, located at the southern tip of Loch Ness where we enjoy an included cruise.

Day 4: Oban
We take the Argyll Coastal Route to reach Oban - a bustling harbour town situated on a sheltered horseshoe bay, protected by the Inner Hebridean island of Kerrea. This busy port town is the gateway to the isles with regular ferries departing to the Inner Hebrides. There are plenty of shops to discover, as well as a popular chocolate shop and whisky distillery!

Day 5: Day at Leisure
Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and admire the spectacular scenery from the hotel which overlooks Loch Linnhe or perhaps make your own way into nearby Fort William - a bustling town with shops and cafes. Fort William is known as the 'Outdoor Capital of the UK' and this is the start/end of the famous West Highland Way walking route.

Day 6: Road to the Isles, Mallaig and Wildlife Cruise
From Fort William we take the 'Road to the Isles', a route steeped in history, to reach the thriving fishing port of Mallaig. Here we take to the waters, with the Isles of Skye, Rhum and Eigg in the distance and explore these waters that are frequently visited by a variety of birds, seals, porpoises, dolphins, whales and basking sharks.
We return to Fort William making a stop at the Glenfinnan Visitor Centre. Why not take a stroll to the Glenfinnan Monument on the shores of the loch, or admire the spectacular Glenfinnan Viaduct - an iconic structure also famous for its appearance in the Harry Potter films!

Day 7: To Northern England
After breakfast we leave Fort William behind and make our way to an comfortable hotel in Northern England for an overnight stay.

Return home.

If travelling from the North of England, you will stay for seven nights at the Caledonian Hotel in Fort William.
If travelling from the South of England, you will stay for five nights at the Caledonian Hotel, and will have a comfortable overnight stay en route outbound and return.
The Caledonian Hotel is located just two miles from the centre of Fort William, between Loch Linnhe and Ben Nevis, and is ideally placed for a relaxing stay amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the western Scottish Highlands. The scenery doesn’t stop at the hotel door; you’ll find tremendous views from the recently refurbished bar and lounge area, as well as the restaurant where you can enjoy delicious breakfast and evening meals. The hotel has a regular programme of authentic entertainment during the holiday season, including musicians and comedians, perfect for relaxing to with a well-deserved drink after a day discovering the local sights.
