Enjoy a potter around the Cotswolds as we take in some of its prettiest villages. Moreton-in-Marsh is our first stop – a thriving market town whose high street is lined with elegant 17th and 18th-century buildings.
We continue to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest of the Cotswolds' towns. Historically an important trading centre, the quaint Market Square is flanked by town houses, independent shops, antique centres and cosy cafés.
We finish the day in Chipping Norton for some free time to explore.
Today we visit the Regency city of Cheltenham before taking to the tracks of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for a delightful trip through beautiful scenery to reach Broadway.
Often referred to as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', Broadway was originally centered around the old church and is recorded in the Domesday Book.
Today we enjoy a trip to nearby Stratford-upon-Avon. The town bursts with Shakespearean attractions from his birthplace (entrance included) to his grave, which can be found in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church.
You will have free time to explore, so why not enjoy a pleasant stroll along the banks of the River Avon? You could even visit the shops in the town centre or relax in one of the tea rooms and watch the world go by!
After breakfast, we journey home.
