County Hotel, Llandudno - Festive Self-Drive

Set in a great position on Llandudno’s promenade, and boasting superb views over the Great and Little Ormes, the County Hotel provides the ideal place to relax after a day of sightseeing, whether you choose to drink in the amazing scenery or enjoy the fantastic live entertainment! Celebrate the festive season with our Christmas package or join us to bring in the New Year!

  • Christmas package includes 4 nights hotel, daily Welsh breakfast, 4 evening meals, 4 cream teas, mulled wine on arrival, and a traditional Christmas Day lunch
  • New Year package includes 3 nights hotel, daily Welsh breakfast, 2 evening meals, Bucks Fizz on arrival, and a 5 course dinner and drinks reception on New Year's Eve

5 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1: Travel to Your Hotel

    Make your way to your hotel where you will enjoy a comfortable four-night stay. Settle into the hotel with a mulled wine to get you into the Christmas spirit.

    Car Parking: Each self-drive booking automatically includes one car parking space which the hotel will reserve for you before arrival. You will need to pay the hotel directly for this on departure, and the cost is typically £6 per day.

  • Days 2 to 4: Llandudno

    Spend three days independently exploring the area in and around Llandudno

    Set in an idyllic location on the North Wales coast, Llandudno has been a popular resort for seaside holidays for centuries. Located just north of the breathtakingly beautiful Snowdonia National Park, Llandudno is home to a spectacular array of seaside attractions and amusements, including its Grade II-listed pier (the longest in Wales).

    Nearby, you’ll find ever-popular visitor attractions such as the historic Conwy Castle, the beautiful Isle of Anglesey, pretty Bodnant Gardens and plenty more – something to suit all tastes and interests!

    Each afternoon there will be a cream tea at the hotel, and on Christmas Day there will be a traditional Christmas Lunch.

  • Day 5: Return Home

    After breakfast, and full of festive cheer, check out of your hotel and make your own way home.

You will stay for three or four nights at the County hotel, located in Llandudno.

    Stay with us right in Llandudno's centre at the former Bay Hotel, County Hotel. The best of Llandudno’s attractions including the Victorian Pier, the Alice in Wonderland trail and the Oriel Mostyn Gallery are all within a short walk of the hotel. One of the town’s top attractions is Great Orme, which can be travelled up by on Great Orme Tramway or by foot if you are feeling active. From the top, you will enjoy great views back over the town and over to Snowdonia National Park. The hotel sits right on the seafront with a number of fantastic shops and restaurants in close proximity. Inside we have a ballroom with a bar and dance floor and you will be able to enjoy tasty breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant while enjoying great views over the seafront.
