Regional departure by coach or Home Connect service, then journey to Holyhead for the ferry to Dublin. Upon arrival, we travel by coach to our overnight accommodation in the Dublin area, with dinner included.

This morning we head west, making a stop at Kilbeggan in the heart of the country to visit the Kilbeggan Distillery, which marks the halfway point between Dublin and Galway. At the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in Ireland, you will learn the history of whiskey in Ireland and enjoy a tasting.

We then travel to Galway, where you can explore the medieval streets and vibrant buildings in your free time. Have some lunch in one of the many restaurants or stroll around the city and enjoy its many cafés and shops.

This afternoon, we board the Galway Girl for our 90-minute cruise to Galway Bay. A truly memorable experience awaits as you are serenaded by traditional Irish music and folklore storytelling. You will discover breathtaking views of Gleninagh Castle, Black Head Lighthouse and Martello Towers, with the Aran Islands on the horizon, and watch the ever-changing light sweep across the Burren.

We then make our way to our overnight hotel in the Galway area for dinner.

This morning, we visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most iconic natural attractions. Located in County Clare, the cliffs rise to a height of 214 metres (702 feet) and stretch approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) along the Atlantic coast, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and the Aran Islands. With over 1.5 million visitors annually, they are the most popular tourist destination in Ireland. Plus, included entrance to the visitor centre allows you to fully appreciate this geographical wonder!

After our visit to the cliffs, we explore more of the UNESCO Burren National Park, stopping at the pretty, colourful town of Lisdoonvarna, famous for its music and annual matchmaking festival. We then continue our scenic drive through the park where you can admire the unique landscape.

Today we travel to the southeast of Ireland. We will make a morning stop in Kilkenny, located on the banks of the River Nore. Kilkenny was once the medieval capital of Ireland and is now home to some interesting castle ruins and landmarks.

We then travel to one of Ireland's oldest cities, Waterford, which is thought to have been founded by Vikings in the 9th century. It is also one of Ireland's oldest ports, with wealth in ship building and glass making. You will have free time to explore this fascinating city, maybe even taking the chance to walk through time in Waterford’s Medieval Museum, nestled in the heart of the Viking Triangle, or visiting Reginald's Tower, the oldest civic building in Ireland.

We check into our central hotel, enjoying dinner this evening and the opportunity to explore Waterford by night.

Today we travel to the capital city of Dublin for some free time to explore! Visit Grafton Street to do some shopping or the Guinness Storehouse and Jameson Distillery to embrace these famous Irish exports! The famous Temple Bar Pub, a traditional music bar and restaurant, is also a must.

If you'd prefer, you can join our optional city tour, where a local guide will show you the main sights of this vibrant capital.

After an exciting day, we travel to our hotel in Dublin for our last night with dinner.

We have an early start this morning to board our ferry back to Holyhead and then journey home. Breakfast will be served on the ferry this morning.

You will stay for one night in the Dublin area followed by two nights in the Galway area, one night in Waterford and a final night in the Dublin area. All hotels will be 3-star.
