Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to northern France for an overnight stay.
We’ll travel to pretty Metz, a lovely French town, set at the confluence of the Seille and Moselle rivers. This charming town is the perfect place to enjoy a short stop to explore the surrounding area and attractions, such as the opulent Saint-Stephen Cathedral, the Opera House, and Saint-Jacques square. We continue to our hotel in the Black Forest for four nights.
Take in breathtaking seasonal landscapes as we explore the Black Forest, a truly picture book corner of Germany. We’ll call at Freiburg, with a wealth of culture and history as well as inviting traditional taverns.
We also call at Triberg, a town home to the Black Forest Museum and an extensive variety of the famous local cuckoo clocks.
We visit the historical city of Strasbourg, with its quaint timber framed houses and famous pink cathedral. With time to explore this beautiful old town at leisure, you're sure to fall in love with the festive atmosphere, decorative Christmas stalls and elegant architecture here.
It will then be time to make our way to the pretty town of Gengenbach, located on the western edge of the Black Forest and known for its medieval town centre. The town hall is transformed into a magical advent calendar.
Join our optional excursion to Baden-Baden, famous for its picturesque setting and quaint narrow streets with cobblestones and brightly coloured shops and houses. Discover the traditional Christmas stalls set in the beautiful old town.

We leave the Black Forest and head into France, making a stop in Colmar. The town is located on the Alsatian Wine Route and boasts a beautifully preserved Old Town with many architectural delights. Browse the festive stalls, before we continue to our overnight hotel.
