Local joining points or Home Connect service, then we travel to our hotel in St Helens and enjoy a welcome hot chocolate and mince pie. Settle in before dinner and then enjoy a glass of mulled wine and evening entertainment.
Following breakfast, we make the short journey into Liverpool for a few hours' free time. If you need a last-minute gift, then Liverpool ONE is the place to go, with shops galore to browse. Or maybe head down to the waterfront and take a stroll around Albert Dock. In the afternoon, we return to the hotel for our afternoon tea. Don't forget to take advantage of the hotel's fabulous leisure facilities, including the indoor pool! This evening, we enjoy our evening meal before a relaxing evening including a game of bingo and a festive general-knowledge quiz.
Wake up on Christmas Day to a traditional cooked breakfast. Following a leisurely morning, a traditional Christmas lunch will be served at 1pm, followed in the afternoon by a guess-the-weight-of-the-Christmas-cake competition and the King's Speech. This evening, dinner will be a light evening buffet.
Today we head to the traditional seaside town of Southport. It's ideal for blowing away the cobwebs and walking off some of the festive fayre!
Later in the afternoon, you will be welcomed back to the hotel with tea or coffee and, of course, a mince pie, before getting ready for our final evening meal together, followed by an evening of entertainment.
Return home.
