Christmas in the Scottish Highlands

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then journey to the Scottish Highlands and our hotel for four nights. Dinner will be served on arrival, and a glass of bubbly will be waiting for you at your table. Enjoy entertainment this evening.

Christmas Eve in the Highlands feels like stepping into a winter postcard – quiet lochs, snow‑dusted mountains and charming villages. We visit Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, where you will have free time to explore. Enjoy the city centre as it glows with sparkling Christmas lights, a towering tree on the high street, and festive displays around the River Ness. Visit the famous Victorian market for some last-minute gifts or head to one of the many cafés or pubs for a coffee or wee dram!

We return to the hotel to relax before dinner and entertainment this evening.

Merry Christmas! Relax in Strathpeffer, open some presents, tuck into a traditional Christmas Day lunch and enjoy the festive atmosphere in the hotel with your fellow travellers. You could even take a stroll and enjoy the Highland air and scenery.

This evening there will be a light buffet for dinner followed by a quiz night and entertainment.

This morning we enjoy a scenic drive around the Black Isle – which is not actually an island! It is in fact a peninsula, surrounded on three sides by expanses of water, with the Cromarty Firth to the north, the Beauly Firth to the south, and the Moray Firth to the east. Charming towns and villages dot this ‘isle’, with fine Georgian houses and quaint fisherman's cottage. The region is famous for its pod of resident bottlenose dolphins which can often be seen at Chanonry Point.

We return to the hotel in the afternoon to relax before our farewell dinner. Enjoy a traditional piper as you walk into dinner. followed by entertainment this evening.
