Christmas in Oxfordshire

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa for a four-night stay. Enjoy a festive cream tea on arrival to welcome you to the hotel. Tonight, dinner will be served in the main restaurant.

We head to the interesting university city of Oxford, home to honey-coloured colleges and many famous spires. Whether you're a fan of literature and learning or pubs and restaurants, Oxford is a delight to explore in the festive season with twinkly lights illuminating the centre. It's also a great chance to pick up any last-minute gifts, and the indoor market is a must for boutique and craft shops!

We return to the hotel late afternoon for refreshments and a mince pie. You'll have time to relax and enjoy the leisure facilities before dinner this evening in the restaurant.

Merry Christmas! Open some presents, tuck into a traditional Christmas lunch and soak up the festive atmosphere with your fellow travellers.

Relax and watch the King's speech after your Christmas lunch, before enjoying a light buffet and a selection of games in the evening.

After a relaxing breakfast, we visit the cathedral city of Winchester, England's ancient capital and the former seat of King Alfred the Great. Discover some of the splendid architecture and history, or why not hit the shops for a little Boxing Day sale shopping?

On our return to the hotel, we'll enjoy tea, coffee and mince pies, followed by dinner in the restaurant this evening.
