Local departure by coach, then on to Glencoe and our hotel for four nights. A warm Scottish welcome awaits us, along with tea, coffee and cake.
This morning, we enjoy a trip to Fort William. Located on the beautiful shores of Lich Linnhe, this is the largest town in the Highlands. Relax with a wee dram in one of the traditional Scottish pubs or browse the high street for a spot of last-minute Christmas shopping.
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a relaxing day in Glencoe; open some presents, tuck into a traditional turkey dinner, and soak up the festive atmosphere with your fellow travellers.
Today, we visit Fort Augustus at the south-west end of Loch Ness. We enjoy a scenic drive through stunning scenery along the shores of Loch Lochy and Loch Oich until we reach the southern banks of Loch Ness. Here, we will stop at Fort Augustus, which offers spectacular views down Loch Ness for those all-important photos – don't forget to keep an eye out for the famous Nessie! Spend some time exploring the town at your leisure.
We depart the hotel this morning, filled with magical Christmas memories, and return home.
