We begin our celebrations tonight with a 3-course dinner in the restaurant followed by an evening of live music and dancing in the ballroom.
After a hearty Scottish breakfast today, we visit Fort Augustus at the south-west end of Loch Ness. We drive via Spean Bridge and the Commando Memorial, a monument dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces in WWII.
We then continue to Fort Augustus, which offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. There are many cruises which depart from here, perfect for hunting down the famous Nessie!
We return back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. A glass of bubbly precedes a delicious 3-course Christmas Eve dinner, followed by tea and coffee in the lounge. We will then enjoy an evening of dancing and live music in the ballroom. For those attending Midnight Service, there will be hot soup served upon your return.
Begin this special day with a glass of Buck's Fizz and a full Scottish breakfast in the Kingfisher Restaurant. Build up an appetite by enjoying a stroll around the beautiful town of Fort William before joining us for a traditional Christmas Day lunch in the afternoon.
A very special visitor will be arriving with a small gift for everyone! Toast the King’s Speech with a glass of bubbly, then relax and enjoy a delicious cheese board in the lounge. An appetising finger buffet will be served early evening followed by a night of fabulous entertainment with dancing and fun.
Enjoy a leisurely full Scottish breakfast before we take a trip to Kinlochleven. The town is on the eastern end of Loch Leven and at the foot of the beautiful mountains known as the Mamores. Kinlochleven was the site of an aluminium smelter, which at one time was the largest in Europe. The tale of this can be heard in The Aluminium Story.
We return to the hotel, passing the beautiful Loch Leven and Loch Linnhe, which both offer superb scenery.
Enjoy a delicious 3-course meal, followed by more dancing in the ballroom.
We depart the hotel this morning, filled with magical Christmas memories, and return home.
