Book NowFollowing our regional departure, we head to our hotel for our two-night stay, stopping en route at the historic 'City of Dreaming Spires', Oxford.
Famed for its university, Oxford is a delight to explore and has often been seen on TV screens in series such as Inspector Morse, Lewis, Endeavour, as well as the Harry Potter film series.
Today we head into the historic city of Salisbury. Here, you will have free time to explore, or you can head to the cathedral early . Your ticket for the Carol Concert also includes admission to the cathedral and Chapter House (Magna Carta). Salisbury Christmas Market will also be in town, located in Guildhall Square!
At 1:30pm, the cathedral doors will open for the highlight of our trip, an afternoon carol concert. The cathedral choir will be on hand to guide you through festive carols in this magnificent setting, where you can sing along and get into the festive spirit!
Following the concert, enjoy included refreshments of the season, which typically includes a warmed mince pie, mulled wine or spiced apple. Don't forget to pop into the gift shop prior to leaving for that last-minute souvenir. Our coach then returns us to our hotel for dinner and a relaxing evening.
